Improve Memory! Decrease Stress!
Stress affects both our brain’s information processing and decision making abilities.
Yikes! Who has time for that?!
Like it or not, stress will always be part of our lives. Excessive stress will cause the brain to shut down (experience, my best teacher, lets me know when I must step back, breathe, play, and tackle problems with fresh pair of eyes. How about you?).
What doesn’t kill, however, will continue to strengthen us. That’s where power of POSITIVE THOUGHTS come into play.
One study shows telemarketers who trained to think positively — perceiving the world as warm, friendly, supportive place — demonstrated 17 percent reduction in stress and 68 percent increase in sales.
So, is your glass “half empty” or “half full”?
Mine is always OVERFLOWING — that’s what I try to believe (how else can I remain sane and keep my head above water). My stubborn mind just might buy into such thoughts some day.
Wishing you a happy, healthy, and a positive week! ![]()
