Heart-to-Heart Connection

To inspire and be inspired!

What is a Mom Worth?

Parenting is a profession!  Parenting is art!

Seven years ago, I miscarried twins — the moment I realized happiness was not about a paycheck; working in a high stress, fast paced environment.  Months later, I left the workplace.

For four years, I stayed home with my children — what priceless moments.

My two boys and I bonded through laughter, play, stories, other mothers, children, home-cooked meals, and just time to relax and enjoy one another’s company.  My husband, my children, and I were so much happier — less money, less stuff, but more time for each other.

To work in or outside of the home — that’s up to you.  No decision or belief is right or wrong,  as long as it’s not imposed on others.

Neglect is rampant.  Our society is falling apart.

We, as a society, must negotiate ways to work as well as spend ample time to raise our children so they will become caring, productive adults.

How?  I don’t have all the answers.  What are your thoughts on balancing work and life?
